How to Add Products to a Project Zone
Use this guide after you have created a project (How to Create & Manage Projects) and are ready to build out zone-level product selections and documentation.
Overview
After a project has been created, each zone can be used to organize product selections, lighting schedule information, delivery timing, product documentation, and submittal materials.
1. Open the Project and Select a Zone
- Open your account dashboard and go to Projects.
- Select the project you want to work in.
- Review the list of zones associated with the project.
- Select the zone where you want to add or manage products.
2. Add Products to the Zone
Products added to a zone can be managed separately from products in other zones. This helps keep selections organized by area, phase, room, lot, floor, or other project grouping.
- Within the selected zone, click on Find Products. You can also begin from the main product catalog, find the product you're looking for, then add it to a project/zone.
- Browse or search for the products needed for that part of the project.
- Select the product you want to include.
- Configure the product where needed.
- Add accessories from the main product page.
- Click Add to Project.
- A side panel will open:
- Select the existing project or create a new project.
- Select which zone you are adding to.
- Designate the schedule type. Note: Zone and schedule type will be printed and labelled on products in your order for easy identification and jobsite routing.
- Add a Required Delivery Date, or leave it blank and add it later when you place the order. Note: You can designate delivery dates for individual line items, for a zone, or for a whole project.
- Review the zone to confirm that the correct products have been added.
5. Download Product Documentation and Submittals
From the zone, you can download product documentation and a submittal sheet for the products associated with that zone. These files can be used to share product details, support review, and prepare materials for approval.
